(A1) Pottery: Let’s Throw Some Clay!
Ages 12 & up
Get down and dirty working with clay. Handbuild, slab construction, wheel throwing, and sculpture techniques offered. Students of all experience levels welcome. Variety of glazing methods presented from earthenware to stoneware and RAKU!

(A2) Pottery: It’s FUNdamental!
(Ages 14 & up)
Learn the fundamentals of clay through sculpture, hand-building and wheel throwing. Students can create functional and imaginative pieces. Individual help given. Glazing will be the last class session.

A3 / It’s All in the Glaze
(Ages 13 & up)
Improve and expand your glazing techniques in this pottery glazing workshop. Learn about underglazes, stains, and slips along with traditional low fire and stoneware glazes. Proper glaze preparation and application techniques will be demonstrated. Bring your own bisqued pottery or select from art center pieces.

A4 / Studio Polymer Clay: Autumn and Holiday Designs
(Ages 14 & up)
We will use polymer clay to embellish frames, candle holders, wine glasses, vases, and even create centerpieces to decorate your home for autumn and the winter holidays. Students provide items to decorate. All tools provided by the teacher.

Materials List: 3 packages of “Studio by Sculpey” clay in autumn leaf colors of your choice, rolling pin, wax paper, empty spray bottle, paper towels, large flat box to carry home clay designs.
