Ages 12 & up

Create paintings using traditional and non-traditional techniques with ink, gum Arabic, salt, masking tape, natural materials, and gauze.

(AF4) Impressionist Painting

Ages 16 to Adult

In this interesting class, we will study the lives of several Impressionist Masters, such as Monet, Degas, Mary Cassat and others. We will reproduce one masterpiece of your choice and each student will create a work of his or her own, based on a personal picture or magazine cutout.

(AF5) Acrylic painting For Beginners

Ages 16 & up

In this relaxed class, we will go over color mixing and painting. We will create 2 paintings, based on one still life and a picture of your choice.

(AF6) Exploring Pastel

Ages 14 & up

Develop your pastel technique as we explore color, value and texture through demonstrations and individual attention. We’ll begin by working from a photo and if weather permits we will try working at an outdoor location. All levels of experience are welcome.

Ages 16 & up

Love the softness of watercolors but do not know where to begin or need a refresher? Start with colors and palette arranging and which materials to use. Experiment with washes, textures, wet on wet, dry brush, and begin to create from realism to abstract.
