Dont ruin a beloved outfit! Remember to have your child wear old clothes.

Classes are designed to be age appropriate- talk to the instructor if you are interested in your child attending a class outside the stated age limits.

Please let us know in advance if your child has any special needs.

C27 / Spring Art Adventure

Ages 5-11

Lets spring forward and create worm spring themed projects! Work with clay to create baby bunnies and birds nests. Create a spring drawing with watercolor pencils and turn it into a watercolor painting. Work on canvas to paint your own colorful spring painting.

C27 / Art en Espanol

Ages 5 - 11

In this fun class students draw, paint and sculpt. Our little artists also learn some basic words in Spanish. At the end of the class they will have produced two acrylic paintings and one air dried clay project.

C29 / Basic Cartooning

Ages 9 - 13

Those who love cartooning and comics can come and learn basic drawing skills while working on projects of their own choosing. Learn the step-by-step techniques of storytelling with pictures, dialogue, lettering and inking.

Materials: Basic drawing pencils, ruler, eraser, 1 thin and 1 thick Sharpie marker, & white sketch paper. Colored markers/pencils optional.

C30 / So You Want to Draw

Ages 9 - 13

Challenge yourself with a variety of drawing techniques from contour drawings to shading to perspective. Students also explore figure drawing and animal drawing.

C31 / Advanced Drawing

Ages 11-16

So youve taken basic drawing classes and learned how to shade. Now take your drawing skills to a new level by developing your own personal creative style.

Dates: Thursdays, 6 sessions, April 10 - May 22 (No class April 24)

Times: 4:00p.m.- 6:00p.m.

Materials: 11"x14" or larger sketchbook, pencils: HB (no. 2), 2B, 6B, eraser, conte crayons.

C32 / Intermediate Cartooning

Ages 11-14

This course is designed for cartooning students who have taken Basic Cartooning and want to progress. Class reviews the basics and adds depth to the discussions and techniques with group projects and exercises designed to make the budding cartoonist think outside the box.

C74 / Fun With Clay

Ages 6-11

This is a great introductory course offering the techniques of hand-building with clay for younger pupils. Students engage their imaginations to create various projects by coil building, slab building, and sculpting in clay, with the final class focusing on glazing. Demonstrations and individual instruction are given.

C75 / Beginning Pottery

Ages 12 & Up

Beginning pottery students learn the fundamentals of working with clay through a combination of sculpture, hand-building and wheel throwing. Demonstrations and individual help are given. A great class to take for a parent and a teen.
