About North Hills Art Center

New Gallery Hours:

Tuesday-Saturday 12-4pm

Closed Sunday and Monday

The North Hills Art Center (NHAC) was founded in 1959 by the Artists' and Craftsmen's Guild, a group of dedicated artists who understood the importance of having a permanent haven where people throughout the North Hills and surrounding areas could come and learn, express themselves, and appreciate all forms of art.

Today, amateurs and professionals alike enjoy that vision in the North Hills Art Center, where they can exhibit their artwork and benefit from the camaraderie found in our classes and open studio sessions.

Classes range from pottery to painting, and pastels to paper arts.

Additionally, the center offers a broad range of afterschool and homeschool classes for children and teens. Other special offerings for young art lovers include our popular summer camps, scouting workshops and themed birthday parties.

The North Hills Art Center instructors are specialists in their areas of interest and many have advanced art degrees. All are highly dedicated to our mission of providing quality, affordable art enrichment to everyone.

The Center also offers a limited number of scholarships available each session for those meeting the low income requirements. These are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

The center features approximately six shows per year, from themed exhibits, to student and membership exclusive shows. Show openings are free and open to the public, as are other special events when they are held.

These are just a few of the exciting reasons to join the North Hills Art Center. We continue to expand our offerings and improve our facility and are optimistic about a bright future.

So join today and Experience the Arts with Us!
