Figure Drawing Open Studio
Artists of all skill levels are invited to join this informal gathering of artists to draw live models posing.
Live drawing is excellent for honing your eye-hand skills, understanding spatial relationships and learning more about skin and anatomy.
We will have at least one model each session, with poses of varying lengths. The model will be nude or draped. All drawing and painting mediums are welcome, but please no photography.
Days: Last Sunday of every month
Time: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
This is a drop-in session - you do not need to register, or pay in advance.
Fee: $10.00
Payment in cash or check (made payable to North Hills Art Center) is due upon arrival.
Parking is available and free in the North Hills Art Center parking lot that surrounds the building.
What to bring
Bring pencils, pastels, chalks, inks, markers or whatever your drawing medium is, and paper and erasers. The Art Center will not provide any supplies and the artists supply store will not be open on Sundays. We will provide tables, chairs and easels and access to a sink and running water.
Please note - this is a live nude model drawing session. We request that everyone present be over the age of 18 or that anyone under the age of 18 has a signed consent form from a parent.
